Far East Group, Honoured at
Singapore, 13 Oc...
From 10 to 12 November, Far East Group of Singapore successfully hosted a three-day “CO₂ Transcritical and Subcritical System Training” at its Changzhou factory. The training aimed to deepen the industry’s understanding and application of CO₂, a natural and environmentally friendly refrigerant technology, and attracted numerous industry professionals from China, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and the Taiwan region of China.

The training programme emphasised the combination of theory and practice. Richard Chung, R&D Director of Eden Refrigeration, systematically explained the theoretical knowledge of CO₂ transcritical and subcritical technology. During the practical session, Far East Group opened, for the first time, the CO₂ Refrigeration System R&D Laboratory at its Changzhou factory for on-site visits by the trainees. Participants observed the real-time operation of the GreenCool CO₂ transcritical packaged unit at close range, accompanied by detailed explanations based on energy efficiency test data. This intuitive on-site teaching gave the trainees a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the GreenCool CO₂ transcritical packaged unit, from its operating principles and performance advantages to installation specifications and operational procedures.

As one of the core initiatives promoting the application of natural refrigerants, this CO₂ system training is a key step for Far East Group in laying out green technology and building an industry ecosystem. We are committed to creating a cross-border platform for knowledge and practical exchange, uniting refrigeration professionals around the world to jointly drive the industry towards a more efficient and more environmentally friendly future.
