Confectionery Company

Challenge:

A food company headquartered in Hong Kong that operates in the confectionery business, with more than 950 stores across Hong Kong, Mainland China, Vietnam and Cambodia. As the company’s chain business continued to expand, the insufficient planning of its warehouses created an urgent need to expand the freezer and chiller storage for raw materials and semi-finished products.

l The raw materials required for confectionery production mainly include eggs, flour, sugar, oils and fats. The quality of raw materials directly affects the quality of the finished products. The company wanted the refrigeration equipment used in its storage to guarantee uptime and reliability.

l The company wanted the storage space to be planned compactly with a rational layout, making full use of the available storage space in the cold stores.

Results:

l Eden unit coolers have a compact body, 50% smaller in volume than ordinary unit coolers, maximising the storage space freed up in the cold stores.
